Very nice guesthouse with lovely rooms and charming owners. The house was very clean and well maintained. We had a beautiful time and we enjoyed the amazing view across the river. We will definitely stay there again one time in future and also recommend it to our friends.

We very much enjoyed a lovely evening in a peaceful setting. Our Hosts Craig and Annette could not have been more friendly and helpful. They advised us on local dining options and after an excellent breakfast even prepared for us a small snack for our onward journey. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the trip. We hope to stay again on our next trip to SA.
Room Tip: Upper rooms have better river views but all rooms are good.

"Our arrival at Anchorage was warmly greeted by a friendly face, we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and we were short of absolutely nothing. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the rooms were immaculately cleaned on a daily basis, we even slept with the door unlocked and windows wide open, that is definitely a first for us. The lush environment alongside the river and the early morning sunrise was just absolutely beautiful; the setting of the rooms overlooking the river was breath-taking from sunrise to sunset; the pool was clean and very inviting! We also met the cutest, behaved, friendliest home pets ever, they were just adorable following us to the river as if they were checking that we are okay as well as keeping us company at night while we watching the sunset from the porch. It was really a wonderful experience that we won’t soon forget. Our stay at the Anchorage was memorable and we would surely be back, hopefully soon.
