My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Besides not bringing my surfboard, as the point was cooking, we managed to enjoy everything that was provided, from long walks on the edge of the water and good food in town. the fresh decor and friendly service add to the amazing experience. Peaceful and tranquil. A very chilled place.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Anchorage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was clean and spacious and the owners more than accommodating. We will definately be back to Stilbaai and The Anchorage and will happily recommend the place to our friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would without a doubt recommend this unique establishment to any person who wants a sublime weekend away from city life or just a breakaway from their normal life routine. The silent, tranquil setting on the banks of the river with its beautiful views just added to the magic of our stay.

We thought this was an ideal location with excellent facilities for a quiet few days to relax and Stillbaai has plenty to offer, whether beach walking or birdwatching.
