Ons het baie geniet van die uitsig, rustige omgewing, mooi verblyf, die vriendelike ontvangs, en die gasvryheid van Craig en Annette, terwyl ons daar gebly het! Ons kom weer!

 

 

"Perfect end of our holidays..."

Nach dreiwöchiger Tour durch Namibia und Südafrika wollten wir auf unserem Weg nach Kapstadt im "Anchorage" nur übernachten. Aus einem Stopover wurden dann unsere letzten 3 Nächte in einem wunderschön gelegenen Guesthouse mit geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern und kleiner, aber funktionellen Kitchenette. Unbedingt erwähnen möchten wir die herzlichen und professionellen Gastgeber Annette und Craig !! Bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt in Südafrika werden wir auf jeden Fall versuchen, im "Anchorage" ein Zimmer zu bekommen.....

On the way between Cape Town and Reinett Graaf, we made the stop, by chance Anette and Craig! Good idea that we had! Gracious hosts, attentive, always seeking to please and help. The place is quite magical, facing the river. The rooms are spacious, very well equipped. Breakfast excellent. We really appreciated and Craig was kind enough to discuss with us a good hour to help us in our journey.

Sur le chemin entre Graaf Reinett et Le Cap, nous avons fait le stop, un peu par hasard chez Anette et Craig ! Qu'elle bonne idée nous avons eu ! Des hôtes charmants, à l'écoute, cherchant toujours à faire plaisir et à aider.
Le lieu est plutôt magique, face à la rivière. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très bien équipées. Le petit-déjeuner excellent.
Nous avons vraiment bien apprécié et Craig a eu la gentillesse de discuter une bonne heure avec nous pour nous aider dans notre voyage.

We've just returned to the U. K. after a trip to South Africa which included a 2 night stay at the Anchorage. Annette and Craig were the best of hosts - nothing was too much trouble for them and our room (no. 4 in the photos) was perfect for our needs, with the balcony looking out over the river. The accommodation was welcoming, comfortable and spotlessly clean (daily servicing came as a pleasant surprise - we'd have tidied if we'd realized!). A very nice touch was the proper not instant coffee left for our use. Altogether a lovely place to stay
