I recently stayed at The Anchorage and had the best experience. Every detail is catered to even though it is self catering. The rooms are spacious and clean and the owners are so friendly and helpful. They cook the best breakfast! View of the bay is beautiful from the rooms. Cannot wait to go back again.

Unser Reiseunternehmen "Umfulana" hatte diese Unterkunft für uns gebucht, und wir waren angenehm überrascht von dem, was wir vorfanden. Das B&B liegt total ruhig am Fluss, die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, großzügig und sauber (mit voller Küchenausstattung für den Selbstversorger), die Inhaber sind nett und hilfsbereit, und auch die Hunde haben uns freundlich empfangen. Wir kamen an einem Sonntag an und äußerten nach fast zwei Wochen Restaurantessen den Wunsch nach einem Grillabend in eigener Regie. Natürlich hatten den Sonntag und die damit verbundenen Ladenöffnungszeiten bis 13 h nicht auf der Rechnung, aber Craig hat seine Beziehungen spielen lassen, ist sofort losgefahren und hat alles Notwendige für einen zünftigen Grillabend besorgt. Ein ganz toller Service! Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht gebucht, so mussten wir schon am nächsten Tag wieder schweren Herzens weiterreisen. Wir hätten uns noch viel mit Annette und Craig zu erzählen gehabt! Diese Unterkunft ist eine gute Sache, um noch einmal Ruhe und Natur zu genießen, bevor man nach Kapstadt weiterreist.

I have been staying here for more than a year on business trips I am always look forward to come back. Annette and Craig are both warm and friendly and ready to make me feel at home. Anchorage is a real treasure, amazing place to rest, enjoy the view and breathe in the fresh air. I know I will be back

We felt so welcome and relaxed in this beautiful safe haven and wished we had booked for longer! An excellent new find for experienced SA travelers. Annette and Craig are superb hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is fresh and spacious, meeting every need. Breakfasts are good. The view is lovely, perfect as you sit out for a quiet read or an amusing moment as a family dog silently encourages you to play! The swimming pool is a real bonus. Overall this is far more that the usual place to stay.

Annette et Craig sont absolument charmants, prêts à vous aider pour vous trouver un restaurant, une plage, une visite à faire. Les chambres sont super clean, spacieuses, bien équipées.
La situation juste devant la rivière est étonnamment reposante . La piscine permet de se relaxer dans une ambiance chaleureuse.
